Frequently asked questions

A traditional vignette darkens the corners of the frame. This tool darkens everything except the detected subject, so the subject stands out wherever they are in the photo: center, edge, anywhere.
It works best when there is a clear foreground subject. Group photos where people fill the entire frame may not benefit much, because the AI may keep most of the photo bright when most of it is "foreground."
Subtle (0.7) is a gentle dim, useful for product shots where the background is already calm. Medium (0.5) cuts the background brightness roughly in half (the default for most photos). Heavy (0.3) is dramatic, works for hero shots and editorial.
